The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2008 with the objective of imparting knowledge in cutting-edge technologies in Information Technology. The Department has a team of dynamic, young and dedicated staff, with specialization in wide array of areas. The Department has well equipped laboratories with 120 Computer Systems with facilities that are vital to train the students in state-of-art software and hardware. The Department always strives to reach the latest technology and advancement in this field to the young learners as well as aspirants by inviting the corporate legends and experienced academicians to enlighten the IT community of our institution.

The Department of Information Technology has been continuously making progress in Teaching and R & D activities. The Department was started with an intake of 60 students in 2008; the sanctioned intake was increased to 120 seats in 2012. The Department focuses on preparing the students for wide range of IT careers equipping them with unique enriching experience of molding tomorrow’s technocrats with high caliber and commitment.
Our Department is having more number of spacious, well furnished, air conditioned with good interior and advanced equipment more than the requirements in IT departments. It provides excellent ambience for the students which certainly enhance their learning experiences.
