Dr. Jayekumar Manikannu, Professor and Placement Officer at MVIT, presented the Placement Report, revealing that over 1,000 MVIT alumni are currently employed at TCS alone.
For the current academic year, an impressive 1,100 students secured placements across various esteemed organizations, including TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, AMI, AVASOFT, Data Patterns, Prochant, TERV, Integra, Spiders, 8 Queens, Botree, Voltech, Lucas TVS, Hexaware, Mitsogo, Sutherland, Pivotal, CAAR, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, and Muthoot.
The highest salary package offered was ₹19 lakhs per annum, with an average salary of ₹3.3 lakhs per annum.
Inspirational Addresses
Shri. D. Rajarajan, Treasurer of the SMVEC Trust, delivered the Felicitation Address, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and executing tasks with precision and uniqueness. He encouraged students to embrace change positively as they advance in their careers.
In his Presidential Address, Shri. M. Dhanasekaran, Chairman and Managing Director of the SMVEC Trust, appreciated the efforts of students and faculty.

The Chief Guest, Smt. Sivasankari Yogesh, General Manager – Human Resources and HR Head – AI Cloud at Tata Consultancy Services, introduced the concept of JOMO (Joy of Missing Out), encouraging individuals to find peace and fulfillment in solitude.
She emphasized embracing freshness and originality, urging students to say ‘yes’ to new opportunities and ‘no’ to fears and self-doubt. She concluded with a meaningful story about a butterfly and a Chinese emperor, symbolizing transformation and patience.
