Being a native of a rural village in Villupuram District, It has been my ambition to transform the poor rural Indian population into a socially and economically well developed Society. I strongly believe that Modern Education alone can bring the required social transformation in order to uplift the rural backward population. We have set our Mission based on the above ambition.
Our Mission is to Serve the Society through technical intervention and to create socially responsible Professionals. In order to achieve this Mission, Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology was established in the year 2008 in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
We are very much conscious of the changing needs of the Society; we always emphasize on imparting education and training to our students beyond the prescribed syllabus to make them responsible & disciplined citizens to serve the society.
It gives me great pleasure to note that, for providing Modern Education to the Student Community, in our Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology, we have created worldclass infrastructure including Centre of Excellence, Digital Library, Specialized Labs and facilities apart from a Team of well qualified, well experienced and efficient Faculty members. The continuous upgrading of facilities has brought our Institution to the forefront of the Higher Educational scenario in the Union Territory of Puducherry.

Centre for Future Skills (CFS) is an initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship through National Skill Development Corporation ( NSDC ) to ensure availability of technology infrastructure and experts on latest technologies in the college campus. Ethnotech Academy is an exclusive partner of National Skill Development Corporation ( NSDC ) to implement this project.
The technology infrastructure will include all the 9 major technologies such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Analytics, AR/VR/Meta, Cloud computing, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, Industrial / Home Automation, Robotic Process Automation and Semiconductor Design.

Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology is situated within Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital Campus along the Puducherry-Villupuram National Highway (NH45A) at Kalitheerthalkuppam, Madagadipet, 25 km west of Puducherry and 15 km east of Villupuram. Built on the expansive campus, it offers a pleasant and conducive place for the pursuit of technical education. The nearest airport is Puducherry Airport(25km) and Anna International Terminal in Chennai (140 km). The nearest Railway station is Villupuram junction (15 km).
