About the Department

The Department of CSE(ICB) has been continuously making progress in Teaching and R&D Activities. The Department was started with an intake of 60 students in 2020. The Department is boasts a dedicated department library stocked with the newest Titles, Editions, Journals and Magazines all connected to the internet. To enhance the Technical skills of students and prepare them for Global competition, the Department organizes Seminars, Workshops, and Guest lectures. The fields of Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security, and Blockchain represent dynamic and rapidly evolving areas in technology, offering significant career growth opportunities. IoT refers to the interconnected network of devices that communicate and exchange data, driving innovations in smart homes, healthcare, and industrial automation. Cyber Security is critical in protecting these interconnected systems from threats and ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance. Blockchain technology, known for its secure and transparent ledger system, is transforming industries such as finance, supply chain, and healthcare by providing decentralized and tamper-proof transactions.

Graduates of CSE (INTERNET OF THINGS AND CYBER SECURITY INCLUDING BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY) will

PEO1: Employability: Our Graduates shall be suitably employed in allied industries/services with professional competency and knowledge of modern tools.

PEO2: Higher Education: Our Graduates shall be capable to pursue higher studies/research in the field of engineering and management.

PEO3: Entrepreneurship: Our Graduates shall be prepared for a successful career by meeting the ever-increasing demands required by Computer Science and Engineering profession and enabling them to become an entrepreneur.

Programme Outcomes (PO)

PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics and science, with fundamentals of Engineering and Technology to solve complex engineering problems related to Computer Science and Engineering.

PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems related to CSE to reach substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems related to CSE and design system components or processes that meet specified needs, considering public health, safety, and cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and methods, including designing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, and synthesizing information, to provide valid conclusions.

PO5: Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modeling, to computer science-related complex engineering activities, understanding the limitations.
