This department offers the Post graduate Programme in Business Administration (MBA) with four Semesters as per the Curriculum defined by Pondicherry University. The Department nurtures and develops post graduates, who can occupy positions of great responsibility in the organizations or become entrepreneurs to contribute their might in the Contemporary Business Environment. The graduates thus need to be well equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure about Management Sciences.
This department conducts intra-departmental activities and inter-Collegiate competitions for enabling the students to benchmark their talents among themselves as well as with their fellow peers from the various institutes located within regional and National boundaries. This department constantly produces University ranks and equips Management students to become the competent professionals and Successful Entrepreneurs.

The department also draws faculty members from the department of Computer Science & Engineering and Science & Humanities to foster Software and Analytical skills among the students. Faculty members are well qualified and have rich Industrial Exposure and Teaching Competency. The faculty members avail continuous training through FDPs, QIPs, etc to adopt recent pedagogies for ensuring effective learning experience among students. Department of Management Studies has well furnished Class rooms compatible with ICT devices to engage Core and Elective Management Courses. The department can utilise the “state of art” fully furnished facilities like Audio Visual Room, Conference Hall, Auditoriums with different seating capacities of the Institute. They facilitate conducting various Skill development activities and Management Games as a part of Curricular and Co-Curricular requirements, to students.
The department has its own library with reference volumes facilitating the faculty members and students. The electronic data bases can be accessed by faculty members and students to have glimpse of all current and back issues of the International and National journals.
The students are trained to use Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Tally for analytical / learning applications and research. It is endowed with exclusive computing labs that are equipped with 30 clients and 1 server.
